Under new management since February of 2010, MTE is the successor to the former S.V. Moffett Co., Inc. As a Jacobsen dealer since 1965, Moffett Turf has long been known in the golf and municipal marketplace. We have also added exciting product lines including Ventrac, Gravely, and Ariens and offer a complete line of products on the New York and Massachusetts State contracts for eligible municipal customers.
Company President Thomas Houseknecht purchased the business assets of the S.V. Moffett Company in February of 2010. As a family-owned enterprise, Tom and Vice-President Ben Mancuso (Tom's brother-in-law) have renewed the company's focus on customer service.
